Windows XP normal "Boot" ( not RESUME ! )  after PC is "HIBERNATED" overnight ?
(... I have researched and have not been able to locate a similar problem by others ... )The "Hibernation" feature appears to be setup properly on my PC,as I can activate the feature both manually ( from Wdws shutdown menu) and automatically (in power settings). In Testing the hibernation feature: (After a successful "Hibernation") When I press the Power-ON button on the case, the expected"Resuming Windows" status-bar is displayed;and the PC correctly "resumes" from the hibernation. But, the next morning ...(after a successful automatic HIBERNATION the evening before),when press the ON button, the PC "REBOOTS" Windows rather than the expected "RESUMING WINDOWS".How can I fix this issue or diagnose the causes ?regards, OTnote: this PC is on a network and needs to be hibernated for "wake on LAN" to succeed..............................................................................DEll Dimension 4600 P4, 3Ghz, 2.5Gb Windows XP SP-3 Trendnet Gigabit Adapter: TEG-PCITXR1 person needs an answerI do too
